Vehicle Rental Agreement

Driver Requirements

Minimum age of 23 years and maximum age of 70 years
Valid driving license held for at least 2 years with no major endorsements
No physical disability, defective vision or hearing that may impair driving ability
No convictions for careless/reckless/dangerous driving in the last 5 years
No previous motor insurance refusals or special conditions imposed

Vehicle Usage

Vehicle is for local use within Kenya only (no cross-border travel)
Not to be used for carriage of passengers for hire or reward
Not to exceed manufacturer's specified passenger capacity
Only drivers listed in the agreement are authorized to operate the vehicle
No off-road driving unless using a designated 4x4 safari vehicle

Financial Responsibilities

Excess fee of Ksh.50,000 payable in case of accident (excluding towing charges)
Full payment for first day required at time of booking
Fuel is the responsibility of the hirer (return with same fuel level as provided)
Late return fees: 50% of daily rate for first 3 hours, full day rate thereafter
Cleaning fee of Ksh.2,500 if vehicle returned excessively dirty

Prohibited Activities

Smoking in the vehicle (Ksh.5,000 cleaning fee if violated)
Transporting pets without prior approval
Using the vehicle for illegal activities
Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Unauthorized modifications to the vehicle

Accident & Breakdown Procedures

Immediately contact Wanderlust Fleet Safaris (+254 725 216515)
Obtain police report for any accident (mandatory for insurance claims)
Do not admit liability or make settlements without our approval
Roadside assistance available 24/7 for breakdowns
Unauthorized repairs not reimbursed without prior approval

Hirer's Declaration

I hereby declare that all information provided is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that this declaration forms the basis of the insurance contract. I agree to all terms and conditions stated in this agreement and those overleaf.

Contractual Terms

Early returns do not qualify for refunds of unused days
Wanderlust reserves right to terminate agreement for breach of terms
All traffic violations during rental period are responsibility of hirer
GPS tracking may be installed for security and recovery purposes

Important Notice

By signing this agreement, you acknowledge having received the vehicle in good condition and agree to return it in the same condition, normal wear and tear excepted. Any damage will be charged according to our repair cost schedule.
