Has anyone done the Nairobi-Nakuru-Maasai Mara circuit recently? How were the road conditions in the rainy season?

We did it last month in a Land Cruiser from Wanderlust. The Narok-Mara road was rough but passable. Highly recommend their vehicles for this route!

Agree with Susan. Just avoid the C12 shortcut if it's been raining - stick to the main B3 route. The Wanderlust team gave us great advice on this.

Can anyone recommend the best vehicle for a family of 5 doing Amboseli and Tsavo? We're debating between a Prado and a Safari Van.

Hi Amina! For that route with kids, we'd recommend the Prado - more comfortable for long drives and better ground clearance. Our 2023 models have third-row AC vents which make a big difference!
